My PHILOSOPHY
We are meant to move. We have joints so we can jump, run, skip, hop, lift, hike, swim, ski, and more. Movement is important—it’s not just lifting weights and doing cardio, but playing too.
A big part of my philosophy is playing outside, whether that’s hiking, biking, running, walking, playing a sport, or anything that gets you moving in the real world. Community is also so important to longevity and a sense of belonging. That’s why I not only train people to be strong in the gym, but I use a lot of the skills we build in the gym and apply them to everyday outdoor activities.
By no means does this mean I won’t push you—I will push you and make you do hard things. That’s how you grow. It may be uncomfortable and messy, but at the end of the day, that is life.
